Set in more than 900 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland with a further 8,000 acres of woodlands, lakes and farmland, Longleat combines the magic of the old with the marvels of the new. Access to Longleat House for both visitors with limited mobility and wheelchair users is via the Victorian Kitchens found to the rear of Longleat House. A lift provides access to all floors. Please ask a member of staff to arrange this for you. Whilst within Longleat House two helpers must accompany wheelchair users. On the advice of the Fire Service, only three wheelchair users and their carers are allowed on any floor at any one time.
